Here's the recipe:
1 lb ground pork
1 Tbls bacon fat
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp rosemary
1/2 tsp sage
1 tsp thyme
pinch of cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
(or you could find a premade sausage you love and use that instead)
2 stalks of celery
1 small onion
5 cloves of garlic
3 cups butternut squash
3 cups of bone broth
1 tsp salt
1 bunch of kale (chopped)
Directions:
In your soup pot sauté the ground pork in bacon fata (or your premade sausage & skip the next 7 ingredients), sprinkle in the next 7 ingredients. Sauté until almost cooked and add in the celery, onion, and garlic. Cook until fragrant, and add in the butternut, broth, and salt. Cover until the squash is cooked through. Toss in the chopped kale and stir until wilted.
Ready in about 20 minutes! You can also use the instant pot and throw everything in together and cook for 12-15 minutes on high pressure.
